Jeremy & Ruth Mills

Jeremy Mills is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church and has over 20 years experience in the ministry. Since an early age, he has felt a call on his life to preach the gospel. Growing up in Southern Indiana, he was mentored by some of the best preachers in Pentecost.  Jeremy preached his first sermon at the age of 15 and has been preaching since.

Jeremy served in the Air Force and was deployed to Iraq where he took part in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  He was able to serve the Iraqi people by volunteering to build a school in Besmaya, Iraq. He also ministered to troops thru preaching at the Chapel Service & giving Bible Studies.  Due to a leg injury, he was unable to continue to serve in the Air Force & received an Honorable discharge.  He has the utmost respect for those serving in the military and their families.  He has a sincere desire to help military families spirituality while they navigate through the challenges of military life.

At an early age, Ruth felt that she would one day be involved in the ministry.  She has always been involved in the music ministry and has years of experience leading youth choirs and worship teams.  Ruth has been involved in every area of church work from Church administration, Sunday School, Youth, Women's Ministry and Music.  It is her desire to live for Jesus and help others along the way.

Jeremy and his wife, Ruth, have worked side by side in the ministry.  Together, they planted a church in Paris, KY and saw a mighty move of God while they pastored there for 5 years.   Jeremy and Ruth have 6 children and have a burden and passion for young families.

The Mills have felt a burden for the Harlem-Grovetown area and are reaching the community through Bible Studies & other community events. The Mills Family looks forward to getting to know you and welcomes you to Promise Church.

“We believe that God's promises are just as real today. We are praying for a mighty revival and outpouring of the Holy Ghost!” ~ Pastor Jeremy Mills
